Bachelor’s in Counseling
UGANDA Mr. Jackson has a Bachelors in counseling, after his first Bachelor’s Degree he practiced counseling and psychotherapy from general Hospitals and the National Psychiatric Hospital (Butabika National referral Mental Health Hospital) offering Psycho-social Support to Children and adults including Autistic, ADHD, Childhood Depression, HIV and AIDs, and Drug and Substance abuse. Mr. Jackson is a registered Member of the Uganda Counseling Association, a body that regulates the provision of Counseling services in Uganda.
Master of philosophy in public mental health
UGANDA Lynda lecturers at the Makerere University School of Psychology; Department of Mental Health and Community Psychology. Her core areas focus on young people, with such topics as Life Skills and Adolescence. Lynda holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Philosophy in Public Mental Health. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Community Psychology. Lynda has worked extensively with young people living with HIV/AIDS since 2007.
MSc mental health in learning disabilities
UGANDA Completed BSc Psychology from University of Southampton and MSc Mental Health in Learning Disabilities from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. Mira has had multicultural experience by working in the UK, U.A.E. and currently in Uganda. A good communicator in Portuguese, Spanish, English, Hindi and Gujrati; providing assessments and psychotherapy (ABA and Speech therapy) for children with developmental delays and special needs.
Post graduate diploma in child and adolescent mental health
UGANDA Mr. Samuel Kimbowa is an Occupational Therapist working at Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital with an experience of 8 years. He has a bachelors in community Psychology from Makerere University and a post graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Mental Health(CAMHS) awarded by the Ministry of Education and sports.
Master of Science in Clinical psychology
UGANDA Vivian Olgah Kudda is a clinical psychologist with 2 and a half years’ experience. After attaining a bachelor’s degree in Community psychology at the prestigious Makerere University, a one year training in child protection and development (Organized by a consortium of child focused organization including Save the children, CaRNAC, World Vision, Compassion and facilitated by Viva), she pursued a post graduate diploma in Project Planning and Management at the Uganda Management institute and graduated in 2013. In the same year, she started pursuing a Master of Science degree course still at Makerere University in Clinical psychology. Vivian has had her practicum done at Butabika Hospital (The national mental health referral hospital). She has been mentored by both a psychiatrist and senior Clinical and health psychologist.
